Bear Grylls served in the British 21st Airborne Special Service Regiment before retiring due to injury. In 2006, Bear was named “the man at the top of the food chain” for the amazing food he ate on his Discovery Channel show “Survival in the Wilderness.” In 2007, Bear did a series of eight shows for Channel 4 called “Born Survivor Bear Grylls. In 2008, Bell went on to make “Wilderness Survival” and “Born Survivor Bell Grylls”, covering 16 regions around the world, from the deserts of Africa to Indonesia, Belize, Canada, Yukon, Iraq and more.

I can’t find anything I would change about these knives. I LOVE how easily these knives take an edge.
I decided to use the smaller knife to dress some doves. I cut the breast meat out to make skewers. The place provided for your index finger between the handle and blade really made using this knife for that task a joy. I was able to preserve so much of the meat and kept showing others how clean I was able to get all of the breast meat out with it.
Gerber Gear 31-002521N GDC Pocket Knife Money Clip, Fixed Blade Knife and Case
I bought this money clip knife intending to use it for it’s intended purpose, but soon discovered a variation that works much better for me. Instead of using it as a money clip, I use the clip to attach the kinife to my pants pocket. With the clip on the outside, the knife part is secure inside my pocket. I can access the knife by slipping my thumb inside the pocket, release the blade and remove it in one easy motion. The clip and the rest of the case stay in place. Replacing the blade after use is relatively easy also, though a little bit of practice makes that process go smoother. For putting the knife away, the blade needs to be lined up just right with the case.
